Looking for programmer heaven

Besides the obvious candidates such as Google, Yahoo or Amazon, where else? Where can I find this kind of information?

You need to define programmer heaven first. If you mean job wise, talk to people in Jugs.

I saw your blog. Not sure if you are looking for a job, but I am looking for a Principal Software Engineer with excellent Java coding expertise for a company in LA. The person must have at least 6 years experience working with Java and be an absolute expert with it. For lack of a better term, they are looking for a rock star to fill this position. The person must also have strong experience working with Linux (preferred) or Unix. There will be some mentoring involved for junior developers and there is room to move into a managerial role if the person is interested in that.

This is a great opportunity with a large software company. There is a ton of room for growth and the salary will be competitive. Does this sound like programmer heaven? If not, do you know someone who would be good? Thanks.
